Her youthful appearance stuns all who meet her when they learn how old she is. Mississippi native Renada Young's appearance helped her book her first principal role for the feature film, Starve, directed by Griff Furst. In the film she plays a 15 year old who, along with several others, have been kidnapped by a deranged man and are being forced to fight each other to death for food.
Renada has studied with Debby Gaudet of Young Screen Actors in Baton Rouge, La in which Renada excelled in improvisation. She attended a scene study intensive workshop hosted by Theresa Bell of TBell Actors Studio in Dallas Texas, that showed her how to become the character she is playing. She has attended workshops featuring notable casting directors such as Matthew Morgan of Morgan Casting and Rhavynn Drummer of Tyler Perry Studios. Renada recently appeared in a web video for the local Virginia College campus located in Jackson, MS. Following Starve Renada has appeared in short films and another feature film titled, Croenoak. She has also appeared in several local commercials. Renada enjoys exercising--strength training and Zumba being her favorites. When traveling, Renada enjoys being in nature and visiting museums. She also loves working with children and has a natural ability that draws children to her. Renada enjoys living life to the fullest, and looks forward to working in notable films and television series. |
